Golden Eagle Lodge and Campground features 9 private campsites for tents or RV’s, each with water and electric (20, 30, 50 amp) hookups; a central dump station is located near the campground entrance. Also available is a heated shower building with 2 modern bathrooms, each with hot water, sink, shower, and flush toilet.
Golden Eagle Lodge and Campground is located on the north shore of Flour Lake and is the only resort and resident on the body of water. Enjoy day canoe trips into the BWCA via two portages at the west end of the lake or hit the water by kayak or boat ride and take in the beautiful cliffs, islands, and unspoiled shoreline. For the hiking enthusiast, access to over forty miles of hiking trails begin right at the back of the campground via the Central Gunflint Ski Trail system. Complete boat and motor rentals as well as canoes, kayaks, and pontoons are available. Flour Lake offers some great fishing for walleye and bass too, via boat or from our fishing piers. Free guest WiFi is available in and around the main lodge building.
